Yet Another Fortnight with Chris Abraham
Do What you Love Repost
"To be successful it is essential to do what you love and follow your passion."
By reading the Internet through a newsfeed aggregator, I have become less interested in article context and more excited about article content.
I find that when it comes to dating relationships I have a tendency to be a little willful.
BL Ochman just mentioned the blog I use to help teach my blogging students blogging, Applied Blogging Workshop, on her blog, WhatsNextOnline.com, in the form of tha article, Articles About Blogs and Blogging, "Chris Abraham has published a links to scores of articles about blogging and how to blog on Applied Blogging Workshop."
The following statement is a complete lie, "He destroyed one of the finest cars on Earth, maybe the finest."
At 3:47 PM Glenn Reynolds wrote the following, "HOWARD FINEMAN lists the blogs he reads." Via Instapundit.
Like Howard Mortman, Michael Savage was a guilty pleasure of mine until Mr. Savage left American Right on XM Radio. Luckily, I have just discovered from Extreme Mortman that you can grab the Michael Savage show on WTNT AM 570 from 6PM-10PM. Every night.
If this were an actual emergency, you would have been instructed where to tune in in your area for further news and developments. I repeat, this is only a test.
Counting Hugh Hewitt in his posse, Extreme Mortman continues to take the inside-the-beltway political blogosphere by storm with Howard Mortman’s latest article, Blogs The Famous Media Reads: Howard Fineman.
Its really amusing to see what search terms in 2005 resulted in a link to this blog.
I am bursting to tell you all that it looks like I am getting married soon!
I only make a couple bucks-a-day from all the Google Adsense ads I have on this site. Why do I do it?
Thanks to the powerful comment spam and trackback spam removal tools built into version 3.2 of Movable Type Personal Unlimited I have been able to safely remove "comment moderation" from this blog. So far, so good.
Although I am only a quarter of the way into Naked Conversations by Robert Scoble and Shel Israel, I am duly impressed.
It has almost been a year since I wrote Don’t Save the Whales.
If you love and honor God and think finding a mate in a world that has the three-date rule is impossible, try eHarmony.
ecto is in fact very underwhelming and buggy but if you need an inexpensive Windows or Mac client software for your blogging pleasure then give it a go. It offers a trial so you can try it out.
This is an attempt at using ecto. I am not sure if it is full-featured enough. Pretty bare-bones.
We all neet to encourage Tiya to keep on truckin’ with her new blog, Splash Maven.
Industries worth hundreds of millions of dollars are getting their butt kicked by this simple blog because Google favors blogs in an obvious and shameless way.
Jeff Dufour of The Hill reads some pretty interesting blogs, according to Extreme Mortman.
WordPress 2.0.1 and Movable Type 3.2 are must-haves to combat comment spam and trackback spam! Do it today!
It’s was snap to upgrade from Movable Type 3.15 to Movable Type 3.2!
According to the National Post and Rutgers University, "Research indicates that better [male] dancers attract both more mates and more desirable mates."
To the folks who read my blog, especially those of you who take the time to comment, I am sorry that some of them disappeared. They were hidden under an avalanche of comment spam.
I love being described as "an expert on corporate blogging and building on-line communities, and a very interesting human" for once without it being me saying it. Via What About Clients?™
If you are now on Zoloft because the Writer’s Center and the Arlington Arts Center cancelled Blog of Your Own, A: How to Write Your World at noon on February 28th then be blue no more*.
My first blogging workshop for the Writer’s Center and Arlington Arts Center went off smashingly and the students and I got along swimmingly but it wasn’t perfect. Luckily, it turns out to benefit the class and me. Mas tiempo para nosotros.
Ten future bloggers are going to be learning to blog in my noontime Starting a Blog workshop. Thanks to the Writer’s Center (and David Gelles) for the opportunity.
Although I have to admit readily that XM Pops keeps the pop in classical music but who cares? I am preparing my introduction to blogging class tomorrow and this sweet music tames the savage beast
I decided that my blog articles need a little more je ne sais quoi and that requires writing more of myself into its "pages." Taking Writing the Personal Essay with Natalie Wexler every Saturday from 1:30-4 for the next four Satudays is what I feel I need.
Revision of Godspeed is Between 2.9 and 8 Knots for my personal essay class at the Writer’s Center.
I admire Lori Gottlieb because she can write boldly and honestly. Start with The Penis Diaries. Then, move on to Stick Figure: A Diary of My Former Self. She is brilliant.
Back in the day when I was a high school writing teacher and member of TMN, I started a collaborative writing project called Item 8. I was 27.
Divorce makes me so sad but the idea of post-divorce dating makes me suicidal.
Irreverent: showing lack of due respect or veneration; "irreverent scholars mocking sacred things"; "noisy irreverent tourists," impertinent: characterized by a lightly pert and exuberant quality; "a certain irreverent gaiety and ease of manner," and godless: not revering god
I believe that creative, unique, and numerous blog categories are an effective method for gaming the blogosphere. More is better.
Although its called The Seamstress Sutra, by Marie Cheng, on Trash Can Sutra, I think its all about the "perfect jeans."
Go ahead, I dare you to search for butt jeans on Google.
In January 2006, almost 75% of my repeat visitors read this blog via some sort of syndicated feed.
"Sailing takes time, and it takes its own time which has nothing to do with either my desire or the requirements of society. The moment one becomes willful enough to disrespect the nature of the sea is the day something breaks." From Godspeed is Between 2.9 and 8 Knots

According to Sifry’s new State of the Blogosphere Part Two, Technorati has a new offering called Technorati Explore.
Now, when you search for keywords, tags, mentions, or phrases searches on Technorati, your returns can be filtered according to the authority of the mentions. The higher the authority, the fewer returns.
Thanks to Corrie I only missed David Sifry’s State of the Blogosphere Part Two by only a day.
Thanks to Corrie I now know I am Moya from Farscape. I love Farscape.
"The purpose of the Relationship Essentials phase [on Chemistry.com] is to immedidately provide basic information about your relationship values."
"Once you have expressed interest in someone who has expressed interest in you, Chemistry.com puts that person in the Active Matches bin."
Thanks to Celina, we have all of these random Valentine’s Day facts care of the History Channel.

All of my lovers and girlfriends have been the result of a simple face-to-face meeting.
I know we all have friends who have stories about how they found their sweet baboo on an online dating sites but what about the stories of the failures? Bob Sullivan thinks so too. He wrote The Demise of Online Dating? Maybe.
When it comes to growing my business relationships, LinkedIn is very useful to me. Come check out the new public web profiles

Although I have raved about Grey’s Anatomy before, I have to say that the ensemble cast, including Christina Ricci, outdid themselves. The second part of the Code Black episode last night was the best yet.
Please feel free to subscribe to my podcast using iTunes and get it right on your iPod. Too heavy on the Bolero — needs more cow bell.
Please feel free to listen to my inaugural podcast called A Fortnight with Chris Abraham.

I was thinking about my car and the cars I have had and they have been accurate representations of who I am, not who I want to become as I had thought.
